What we pour

Concrete services

New pour, replacement or repair? We look at the site, the soil and the drainage, then recommend the right mix, thickness and finish.

We established this company many years ago with the objective to provide every concrete need in all of Concord. As a small concrete company in Concord back then, it was as if an uphill battle. We didn’t have as much patrons yet, so our initial services were limited. However, even so, we made sure to provide the most essential needs that any property owner may have and these are commercial and residential services.

In this page, we will be discussing more about the concrete commercial services that we provide. As we were beginning as Concord concrete company, we were offering some of the most essential services which include bridge walls and topping slabs, ramps, bicycle paths, curbs, pathways, footpaths, v-drains, heavy access driveways, drainage, shop floors, industrial floors, gully pits, picnic areas, entrances, and even parking lots. Back in the day, these services were in demand considering that there were not so much suppliers during that time.

As time went on the company grew. With the growth of the company, we were able to hire more people and acquire more equipment, which in effect allowed us to take on bigger projects. Because of our wide experience in building almost every size and every type of building, we are open to discuss any kind of project that you have in mind. Some of the types of projects we made are apartment buildings, government building, office complex, retail space, sports facility, municipality, healthcare facility, educational institution, restaurant, and parking structure. If you are interested in these types of projects, you can easily reach out to us at 925-690-1468.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a concrete driveway cost in Concord?

HomeGuide's national figures for 2026 put a concrete driveway at $6 to $15 per square foot, or $2,400 to $8,600 for two cars. Those are not our quotes. Size, base work on clay, removal of the old slab and the finish set your price. Our concrete cost guide has the details.

Why does concrete crack so much in Concord?

Mostly because of expansive clay. The soil swells in the rainy months and shrinks in the dry ones, and thin slabs without steel break up over time. A compacted rock base, steel, good joints and drainage make the difference.

Do I need a permit for a driveway or sidewalk in Concord?

Work in the public right of way, including the driveway approach, curb, gutter and sidewalk, needs a City of Concord encroachment permit under Municipal Code chapter 12.15. Flatwork on the ground inside your lot often needs no building permit. We check for your address.

Who is responsible for the sidewalk in front of my house?

The property owner, under California Streets and Highways Code section 5610 and the Concord Municipal Code. You may use the city's Sidewalk Repair Program or hire your own contractor with an encroachment permit.

How long before I can use new concrete?

Walk on it after one to two days and drive a car on it after about seven days. Keep heavy trucks off for about four weeks.

Is summer too hot to pour concrete in Concord?

No, with planning. We pour early in the morning, dampen the base and start curing right after finishing so the surface does not dry too fast.

Do you remove the old concrete?

Yes. Tear-out and haul-away are part of our quote when a replacement is needed.

Can cracked concrete be repaired?

Small cracks and surface damage can often be repaired or resurfaced. Slabs that have sunk or broken up usually need to be replaced. We tell you which applies.

Do I need a permit for concrete work in Concord?

Driveway approaches, sidewalks and structural slabs often need a permit. We check the rules for your address.
